Abstract

During the research activity, the moment and form of evaluation is understood as the process of handling data and information for analysis, in this sense the effectiveness and efficacy depend on realize the procedures properly, one of them is the evaluation of the scientific results of research projects as the product that is offered to solve the problems encountered, which in this case is towards the development of motor coordination in children with mild and moderate mental retardation. The objective is to apply the criterion of experts for an adequate assessment of the relevance of the strategy to improve motor coordination through community physical activities in children with mild and moderate mental retardation. For this, a population of 19 professionals with experience and knowledge on the subject was taken. Interest are important moments the elaboration and socialization of the valuation material, the determination of the competence coefficient of the expert, the application of the survey, as well as the Delphi procedure with the determination of absolute frequencies, cumulative frequencies, cumulative relative frequencies and cut points, actions that offer an analysis on the consensus in the criteria offered by the experts.
