Characterization of Suicidal Behavior in Early Adolescence. (Original)

Abstract

Suicidal behavior is an international and national problem, Buey Arriba municipality of the Granma province has high morbidity and the adolescent group has a higher incidence. Adolescence is a critical stage, where negative valence experiences are experienced that can trigger suicidal behavior, its manifestations ranging from the idea to the execution of the suicide plan. Detecting the risk of this phenomenon among the main actions for its prevention is suicidal behavior. Therefore, the objective is: to characterize suicidal behavior in early adolescence. A descriptive study was carried out, which responds to the quantitative methodology, such as techniques: the risk indicators questionnaire, semi-structured individual interview, discussion group and descriptive statistics.
