Abstract

The program of formation of the gastroenterology specialty has as objective to obtain medical gastroenterologist that acquire an enough level of knowledge to exercise in a responsible and correct way the gastroenterology specialty medical-instrumented in any stage. The formative character in gastroenterology during the specialization by means of a continuous pedagogic process, so much in the praxeological order, as in the methodological, prepares to this professional so that he can face with responsibility and professionalism the performing of his work. In the institutions of higher education of medical sciences that assist specificities as for the attention to patients with digestive neoplasms, positive changes are revealed with a view of achieving high standards of quality in the intra-hospital attention. The medical residents or specialist doctor in training are those that for their formation like specialists require to enlarge and to extend the theoretical and practical aspects of the area that covers the specialty.
