The university extension from the perspective of its promoters in the Granma University (review)

Abstract

For the graduation of integral professionals, with a capacity for conscious and creative response to current demands the result of a conception based on academic excellence, is an immediate priority of radical change in the reductionist imaginary that hampers the integration of university important processes. The article is aimed to promote a reflection in the search for a different alternative of analysis about university extension, from the criticism and the questioning of the fundaments on which some of its promoters support their actions in the faculties. The author presents the partial results of an exploratory study carried out as a first step for the realization of an intentional work strategy from the Department of University Extension in the Granma University.
