Professionalization of Statistics in Industrial Engineering (Original)

Abstract

A present problem is approached in the teaching process - learning of the Statistic that one manifests in the difficulties of the students to apply methods and technical that are experienced in the program from the matter to the solution of exercises and problems linked to the career, for what we converge to the elaboration of mathematical problems that which contributes to the understanding and the correct use of the language of the subject. The experience was put into practice with students of second year of the career Industrial Engineering. At the end of the same one the students achieved a notable it advances in the correct formulation and white of the elaborated problem, applying the studied statistical techniques properly. We consider you had vital importance in the future profession of these schoolboys, since the Statistic constitutes an analysis tool in its functions as Engineers and it will serve them as consultation for it.
