Cineanthropometric characteristics of the school athletes of the EIDE of Granma. (Macrocycles of 2014-2107) (Original)

Abstract

In the present investigation, an analytical study of longitudinal cut is made with a view to estimating the range of cineanthropometric characteristics of the school athletes of the EIDE of Granma during the macrocycles of preparation from 2014 to 2017. The universe was constituted by 2037 athletes, the sample consisted of 1408 athletes (754 male and 654 female). The measurements were made with a Holting Caliper, Detecto Arm Scale and Conventional Height Meter, for the determination of % fat and the IAKS Withers method was used. From the descriptive statistics we used the mean and the standard deviation and the inferential statistics the estimation of population parameters for a 95% confidence. The data was processed through the professional statistical system SPSS 22.0 for Windows. The analysis of the results allowed us to estimate the cineanthropometric characteristics of the athletes of both sexes which correspond to a certain extent with the records that exist for the high performance athletes, as well as to continue making the estimation of the cineanthropometric characteristics of the school athletes of the EIDE of Granma in order to obtain greater objectivity in these parameters.
