The research is an approach to the educational wok of José Silvio Amaro Jiménez in judo, pays tribute to the extension project the sporting glories and its connection with the training of the professional of physical culture and sport, he work eduntil his death at the UCCFD Manuel Fajardo Rivero, stood out for the oretical-practicalresults in favor of education, his main contributions were in texts, manuals, compendiums and conferences given. Objective: To assess the educational ideas in judo of José Silvio Jiménez Amaro from 1983 to 2015 through the systematization of his experiences. The methodology includes the oretical methods: Historical-logical, analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, systematization, allows the analysis of educational processes over time, information from primary and secondary sources on educational practices in different eras is collected and analyzed, makes it possible to reconstruct and explain the educational ideas in judo of José Silvio Jiménez Amaro from 1983 to 2015, as well how to arrive at important generalizations that favor the construction of the theoretical framework of the research. Empirical methods. Interviews, consultations with specialists, biographical methods, or life histories make it possible to verify the veracity of o their information obtained, obtain accurate testimonies from personalities who provide elements of their performance as educators and their contributions to education, as well as verify the scientific value of the research with specialists in historical studies. The topics current due to the connotation of its ideas in Cuban education, particularly in physical culture and Cuban judo, and the research is considered pertinent.
