Abstract

Applied Sports Sciences have contributed significantly to competitive results and to the improvement of sports techniques in each discipline. In the present research, a descriptive study is carried out on the benefits that the Kinovea software provides to coaches and athletes during the execution of the pitching technique for the study of the biokinematic characteristics in it, with the purpose of assessing its behavior related to the quality of the technical execution. This is a multiple case study where the videography technique was used on four athletes from the Granma province school team. The analysis of the results allowed determining the technical performance of the athletes, specifying the errors, their causes and consequences, as well as proposing suggestions for their correction in the training process.
