The inclusion of students with disabilities. A look at the planning of the process in Physical Education (Revisión)

The attention to students with disabilities in Physical Education classes, which are developed in regular education, requires the creative and innovative character of the teacher to establish pedagogical strategies that enable the participation of all, ensure their multilateral development and the equalization of conditions. In this way, the guiding role is played by the planning of the educational process, a subject that is addressed in the essay, focused on the protagonism that curricular adaptations should have as the way for everyone to learn in the same context, with equal opportunities. It is specified that their methodological treatment must be adjusted to a format, concretized in the basic design of the class planning, in a short, medium or long term programming; in which the didactic resources that adjust or support the process are weighted. It is concluded by emphasizing the importance of keeping in mind the characteristics, needs and individual and collective potentialities of the group-class, so that the planning responds to what, how, for what and how much to teach in a common learning space; with a didactic, flexible, open to diversity character; consequently, the achievement of an inclusive and quality education.
