Abstract

The research that supports this article was classified as an action study that focused its attention on the environmental preparation of the students of the medical sciences of the Isla de la Juventud and that applied theoretical, empirical and statistical methods. In it, a historical-logical-trend analysis was carried out that, together with the diagnosis of the object, allowed its characterization. Likewise, the theoretical references that allowed to base its main contribution, the interventional management strategy for the conservation of the environment from physical activity, which materialized in practice through five stages with their respective actions, were systematized. Said strategy contributed to guarantee a competent action in the students of medical sciences in the development of their pre-professional activities. The results of the consultation with specialists, carried out in the application of the intervention management strategy, made it possible to evaluate its validity in pre-professional practice and allowed us to conclude that the strategy contributed to the improvement of environmental preparation in students of medical sciences.
