The visión of chess in this century has expanded, in addition to being a sport with 195 affiliated federations to the International Chess Federation, with a wide competitive calendar in all categories starting with 7-8 years, it is an educational tool par excellence, what the most diverse educational systems recognize and Cuba is not an exception. The present investigation studied preschool chess in the “Capablanca Dreaming Projet” of the Center for Chess Studies ISLA and tribute to the Chess Strategy 2022-2028. The research problema arises in the question: How to contribute to the familiarization of chess in the preschool age in the “Capablanca Dreaming Projet”? And its general objetive is: To elaborate a strategy for the familiarization of chess in preschool age in the “Capablanca Dreaming Projet”, from the perspective of intelectual and sport development.The diagnosis in this investigation used a diversity of theoretical and empirical scientific methods:The analitycal-synthetic, a Deep documentary analysis, the survey, the observation, the judgment of specialists and the SWOT analysis, due to the diversity the methodological triangulation was required and allowed us to with its results, to influence the Cuban Chess Strategy 2022-2028, which is already proposed in its third specific objective, and to elaborate the strategy of the Study Center in relation to preschool chess.
