Abstract

The center of interest of the research was Proposing a methodology based on neurolearning favors the development of basic movement patterns (Walk, Run and Jump) in children of the transition grade of the Malvinas Barranquilla cultural institution, from the grades of maturity or immaturity of the basic patterns of movement (Walking, Running and Jumping) seeking to establish own references for our country (Colombia). It is a cross-sectional study, with a quantitative approach, non-experimental design and descriptive cross-sectional scope. The girls and boys were randomly divided forming a sample of 56 subjects aged between 5 and 6 years of the transition grade. In both groups the same protocol was applied: age, weight and height, Body Mass Index, later the Mc Cleanaghan and Gallahue Test (1985) was applied as an observation instrument. Regarding the jumping pattern, the results obtained showed that of a total of 56 units evaluated, 32 (57%) are in the initial stage; 15 (29.4%) in elementary and 15 (29.4%) in mature stage; for its part in the career pattern, of a total of 56 units evaluated, 14 (27.5%) are in the initial stage; 25 (49.0%) in elementary and 12 (23.5%) in mature stage. According to the results obtained from 100% of the population, 76.5% (running) and 70.6% (jumping) present immaturity in these two movement patterns, while 23.5% and 29.4 % show maturity respectively.
