The treatment of the defensive tactics of the Villa Clara school boxers

Abstract

The defensive tactical actions represent a fundamental link for obtaining victory during combat, however the investigations carried out in general have not been directed in this sense and the existing recommendations for their development are limited. In the analysis carried out by the Villa Clara Provincial Technical Commission of Boxing about the results achieved in the National School Games, it is concluded that the low results obtained directly affected the treatment given to the defensive tactical preparation. The research addresses this problem and finally provides methodological guidelines to improve the treatment of said preparation in the school team. To achieve the above, an analysis of documents was carried out, the population of the 20 coaches in the JENAR 2017 was surveyed, a structured observation was made to 25 schools of free combat with gloves and the 3 Preparatory Competitions of the team, detecting the causes that affect the defensive tactical level of boxers, after knowing the current state of defensive tactics a methodological workshop was held, which allowed the determination of the guidelines that will allow to improve the treatment of defensive tactics in boxers 13 - 14 years.
