Abstract

In contemporary sport, vital importance is given to specificity in training control supported by the essence of the characteristics of each sport and the role of the players. Volleyball is one of the sports that accuses to a certain extent some shortcomings in the use of more reliable tests that guarantee an approach of its tests in this sense, hence the present investigation has as objective to establish a test for the control and evaluation of the precision of the passer, considering that this player constitutes the brain of all the actions of the team, the specificity of the control is one of the fundamental aspects that is within the current technological demands of the Cuban Volleyball Federation. To comply with the research, theoretical research methods (synthesis and inductive-deductive), empirical (interviews, observation, documentary analysis and measurement) and statistical mathematics were used. A test is designed that takes into account the characteristics that identify the game dynamics and movement of this player. The specialists consulted consider the test prepared to be very adequate, based on its relevance, the quality parameters and its form of evaluation. It is also corroborated with them, the possibility of projection of the future training of said player with greater objectivity.
