Abstract

Why the use of the term "Local Development" increases? Is it related to the process of "decentralization" announced in our country? You should address the "local" only from geographic references? What is the role of identity, cultural and social elements in the demarcations? From what conception it is assuming the "development"? Just the economic element is a guarantee of sustainability, transformation, "impact"? What other elements should be taken into account to enhance experiences of "local development" to become, contentivos conditions and political potential, scientific, educational, artistic, legal and socio-cultural, inclusive, educational and transformative processes present in our communities? How to promote projects that articulate the local to the national and members to combine daily and specific needs of the family, neighborhood groups and with big plans and goals of the nation?
