Theoretical Considerations about Teacher Training in the National and International Context (Review).

Teacher training constitutes, today, an educational process that must be extended throughout the life of an individual. In this sense, training must constitute a form of permanent education that allows, to be part of the dynamics of change both in orientation and in the educational process, making it easier for the teacher to face the problems posed by: scientific and technological advance; the imperatives of economic, social and political development; the accelerated pace of environmental development; the influence of the mass media and the demands for international harmony and relations between communities. Current demands require teacher training a permanent, systematic and planned activity that will be projected on the basis of the real needs and perspectives of an entity, and is aimed at favoring a change in terms of knowledge, skills and capacities developed by the subject, which enables a comprehensive development and better effectiveness in the performance of their work. The research aims at carrying out a theoretical systematization on teacher training in the international and national context.
