Abstract

Desoft, belonging to the Electronics, Informatics and Communications Group of the Communications Ministry, works in a high-tech sector, mainly dedicated to the development and deployment of products and services associated with the changing and demanding field of Information Technologies and Communications. In the integral policy for the improvement of the computerization of the society in Cuba of the Ministry of Communications, it is proposed that “the training, preparation, specialization and certification of the professional roles of the industry, executives, officials and specialists” should be encouraged, and that in Companies such as DESOFT, whose main asset and raw material to produce is the knowledge that their specialists carry, the continuous learning is an urgent need. The present work proposes a model for the administration of the continuous formation, the same one constitutes a radical innovation for the company, since it systematizes and summarizes in its development what is regulated by the Work and Social Security Ministry and the leading organism of Education, in combination with the specificities of the proper procedures of the Ramal Training Center for Computer Sciences and adequate elements of experiences of companies at international level in matter of formation, which in turn, can be extended to other companies in the sector. This model is currently being applied where a first version of the roles is already available. The model is currently in the process of accounting as an intangible of the company.
