Abstract

The current article is directed to design a system of activities to stimulate the creativity in the primary school children from the contents of the subject History of Cuba, which favors the solution of one of the main learning problems: trying to turn the students into the subject of their own learning. Theoretical methods are used such as: analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction, historical-logical and the systemic-structural-functional ones; empirical methods such as: revision of documents, class observation, pedagogical pre-experiment; and methods and technical of descriptive statistics, and they allow to demonstrate the relevance and feasibility of the system. The proposal is a concrete answer to the existent contradiction between the acquisition of the historical knowledge and their application at a creative level.
