A methodology for structuring independent work in General Chemistry within teacher training.

Abstract

In this article a methodology is developed to structure independent work in a system of classes of the topic Solutions of the subject General Chemical for the students majoring in Biology-Chemistry. The result derives from a doctoral thesis, as well as from the teaching experience of its authors within the Higher Education system. In carrying out the investigation process, theoretical, empirical and statistical methods were applied. The demands of the developing teaching and learning process were considered, and its potentialities in increasing the students’ academic results, their cognitive independence and their adequate professional preparation.
