Calculus in chemistry or chemical problems with calculations, as it is also known throughout the study of the chemistry subject, constitutes a specific guideline in the teaching-learning process of said science. Specific guideline that is analyzed from the theoretical and practical to reflect on its importance in the process of teaching chemistry in the 8th grade. For this, educational research methods are applied, which allowed us to understand that the chemical stoichiometric content encourages the application of previous knowledge, thereby developing calculation and logical thinking skills in the students.
