Teaching methodology in the treatment of children with autism spectrum disorder

This research is an approach to the inclusion of Autism Spectrum Disorder and its methodology carried out in primary school, due to the need to contribute to the development of new knowledge and the training of the primary teacher. Currently there has been an increase in this type of children in primary schools, with the primary teacher lacking methodological resources to cover all the deficiencies of students with Special Educational Needs, particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder, therefore, the authors raise the following question: How favor the training of primary teachers for the inclusion of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder? The objective of the research was: to develop a methodology aimed at the primary teacher for the inclusion of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, belonging to the Félix Várela primary school. Theoretical methods were used such as: analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, modeling and within the empirical ones: interview, observation and survey. The percentage calculation was used as a mathematical procedure. The application of this methodological proposal allowed to favor the correct training of the primary teacher and the inclusion of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in primary school.
