Abstract

The environmental education is a process appointed to the formation of a citizenship which creates valves, it clarifying concepts and develop abilities and necessary attitudes for harmonic living together among human beings, its culture and the environment. Among the environmental education it stands out the formal one, which is stablished the incorporation of the environmental dimension in the curriculum up to the establishment of educative projects at schools. From this, it was developed a theoretical study of the topic which was related with the teaching learning process of the Chemistry course in 8th grade by obtaining the environmental knowledge, as well the chemistry environmental culture for the study of the unit of the oxides. The text of the article is part of the work presented in the university students forum. And it is the result of the types of institutional project of investigation “The environmental education for the sustainable development from the natural sciences of the specialties.
