Abstract

Thinking about reading reflections for young students can sound like your father talking about your future or some teacher who seeks to be like your spiritual guide towards the university.
But beyond any other analogy, there are things that as young people we would like to have read and understood before receiving the so famous “I told you so”.
At this age we have fears, frustrations, doubts and uncertainties and the greatest gift we can receive are certainties and advice to face the coming years.
It is no surprise to anyone that some of the most important decisions in life are made at this stage and that is why with this article you will be able to find some reflections that can help you on the path you are about to start at university.
Let's get started!

1. “First of all, preparation is the key to success”: Alexander Graham Bell

How many times have we not heard this phrase? Well they say that what does not die is because it still has something to say.
The reality is that people who prepare and obtain a degree earn up to 70% more than people without a professional degree, incredible, right? Preparation, without a doubt, is an essential weapon for today's world of work, because it is increasingly competitive.

2. “Youth have to create. A youth that does not believe is really an anomaly”: Ernesto “Che” Guevara

There is no better age to innovate and reinvent yourself than when you are young. The idea is true that hope rests with young people and that is why they should set an example of what they can achieve.
When you are going to make a decision, think about which one will make you see as an example of what you can achieve to your loved ones, but above all, to yourself.

3. “There weren't a thousand failed attempts, it was an invention with a thousand steps”: Thomas Alva Edison

The inventor of the incandescent bulb that we all have in our homes had to try it at least 300 times before achieving the ideal result.
When you have failed and consider giving up, think twice, because real failure is when you stop trying. The falls are only steps towards the goal.

4. “A healthy mind in a healthy body”: Juvenal

We are what we eat, drink and do in our daily life, that is why taking care of our body is important, not only in the present, but also to avoid problems in the future.
Exercise, eat well and get enough sleep. If you do, youth will last longer and pay off much more.

5. “Opportunities don't happen, you create them”: Chris Grosser

Great opportunities don't fall from the trees, but the fruits of the tree are worth taking advantage of.
In today's world, possibilities are at your fingertips. There are universities that offer you online study plans, which are an excellent opportunity to work and study simultaneously.
Take the chances you have and create your own opportunity.

6. “Your aspirations are your possibilities”: Samuel Johnson

Conformism is the main enemy of success.
Never stop reinventing yourself, learning, moving forward and dreaming of more because that will be the engine that will allow you to achieve great things.

7. “I hated every minute of training, but I said, don't give up. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion”: Muhammad Ali

As young people we always think about the immediate because we like to see the results of our efforts almost immediately, but it is important that you learn to be patient.
True success lies in consistency and perseverance. An empire is not built overnight, it is built every day, piece by piece.

8. “Just because you spent 4 years studying a subject doesn't mean you have to spend the remaining 40 years suffering from it”: Dhaval Gajera

Life can be rebuilt countless times. Don't be a slave to your decisions, remember that as long as there is life, there is hope.
It is also important that you limit the possibility of setbacks, to achieve this in the academic field, try to decide correctly at the first opportunity about the career you are going to study at the university.

9. “To be successful, your desire to succeed should be greater than your fear of failure”: Bill Cosby

Fear is the great enemy of man: it paralyzes him and does not let him grow, however, that phrase that the incredible happens outside the comfort zone is very true.
Don't get paralyzed, remember: he who doesn't risk, doesn't win.

10. “There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going to”: Helen Keller

Who said success was easy? On the contrary, it requires effort and sacrifice. The study probably demands more of you than you think you can, but how will you know if you don't try?
Your great virtues and your true
