The knowledge of Task “Life" from the contents of the Geography in tenth grade

Abstract

The extensive swamp fringe to the south of the county of Mayabeque, in particular, in the coast of the municipality of Melena del Sur, study object in this work, suffered a massive mortality for the man's action and today is among the areas prioritized for the confrontation to the climatic change: Task Life. The investigation is related with the improvement of the knowledge of this important Plan of State from the contents of the Geography of tenth degree in the Vocational High School Institute of Exact Sciences “Amistad Cuba-Suecia”. The application of the diagnosis with the use of the different theoretical and empiric methods which sustain the foundations of the investigation has allowed to verify the insufficient domain on the part of the students of its contents, objectives, and significance in the territory, what limits the development of activities to give answer to the environmental problem in the town. Starting from that which a miniproject was elaborated with its actions that it contributes to solve the declared problematic situation, taking as relating theoretical the philosophical, psychological, pedagogic and didactic principles related with the interests of the investigation. The ideas exposed in the work are sustained in a rigorous bibliographical analysis of different authors. Their application facilitates to evaluate its effectiveness that is reflected in a superior level of knowledge about the Task Life in the students in bond with the contents of the subject Geography of the plan of studies of tenth degree and the gradual transformation of its knowledge.
