System of shops to contribute to the environmental education from the subject Geography of Cuba

Abstract

The current context, marked by a crisis environmentalist: change climatic, global contamination, you lower reservations of drinkable water, among other problems, and they make to the professors of more and more important Geography work. On the other hand, the topic related with the environment and their protection, one of the most momentous topics constitutes in the debate to national and international scale for their economic, ethical, political and social implications, as well as an enormous reach in any development strategy. In particular, in the Geography of Cuba of ninth degree, it is pointed out to work for the environmental education, however, for that observed from the classes in the Basic Secondary, Antonio José Oviedo in the municipality of San José de las Lajas, a limited work is appreciated in this address, what is manifested in the students in the little knowledge that you/they possess of the environmental problems in Cuba and its town; they don't assume a perception of the implications that these they have for the country neither in their own lives; of as them they can contribute to minimize them; neither they show domain of the legislations that in this respect they exist in the country, what is expressed in behaviors and not very favorable actions for the environment, among others. The investigation will be distinguished for the possibilities that it offers the system of shops to contribute to the environmental education guided to the sustainable development from all the units of the program of Geography of Cuba that will favor changes in the form of to think and to act of the students.
