Abstract

The family, as a primary and natural human group, lives and functions as a system of relationships and interactions from within and with the outside. It is a group of people who establish an open dynamic process, which allows the continuous flow of family life. Their preparation to improve the modes of action in schoolchildren is a primary task in Cuban schools, since at the moment it is a latent situation. The main objective of this work is to develop family preparation activities to promote the modes of action of third grade schoolchildren with intellectual disabilities at the “Francisco Vicente Aguilera Tamayo” Special School. The importance of this research lies in favoring the preparation of the family of third-grade schoolchildren with special educational needs, in addition to promoting actions towards an intervention, aimed at influencing the modes of action of families and improving the educational activity of the children. parents at home and achieving better family functioning.
