Evaluation of QuitoMax in the cultivation of the sugar cane (Sacharum officinarum, L) in field conditions

Abstract

The investigation work was developed in the Cooperative of Credits and Services dedicated to the production of cane of sugar belonging to the Complex Agroindustry Arquímedes Colina, municipality Bayamo, county of Granma, with the objective of evaluating the effect of the Quitomax on the cultivation of the cane. Two experiments one factor were executed under field conditions it has more than enough totally randomized designs, among the months of Noviembre/2019 to September /2020 in a good period for the cultivation, the cane variety Cuba 8751. The evaluated treatment was used they were: Treatment 1: Application of QuitoMax, Treatment 2: Treatment control, being made the following mensuration: Number of shafts for graft: 10 grafts of each treatment were selected and they were counted the number of shafts, Weight of the shafts: (kg). Content of Brix%. In the superior part a knot below the heart and two knots above the basal knot with a refractmeter the brix% was measured. For the statistical analysis of the obtained data the test of Kolmogorov-Smirnov was used to prove the normality of the data and a test of multiple Comparison of stocking for T-Student for 5% of probability of the error with the Statistical Package ESTATITICA Version 10 on Windows. Tendency was observed to an increment of the variables where QuitoMax was applied.
