Abstract

The necessity to complete the work plans directed to the production for the feeding of the people and for animal food it is of first order, also allow the substitution of imports, an strategic objective of the Cuban Government and State. In Cuba, it is powered the cultivation of the vegetables in the modalities of the urban and suburban agriculture, which it is sought to guarantee the supply of fresh vegetables to the consumers; among these, the lettuce (Lactuca Sativa L.) plays an important paper inside the rotations of cultivations that are planned as much in organologicals as in the intensive orchards (Velázquez et al., 2014). As general objective it has to be evaluated the influence of the application of Chitomax and Efficient Microorganisms (EM) on the microflora presented in the floors and some parameters of growth of the plants in lettuce nurseries. It was concluded that with the application of bovine manure combined with the pool efficient microorganisms it was showed a bigger stimulation for the proliferation of bacteria’s (79, 47 UFC x 106 x g.s) and actinomycetes (62,5 UFC x 105 x g.s); in the morphological parameters number of leaves, height of the plant, diameter of the stem and longitude of the root the best behavior was obtained with the application of the pool of efficient microorganisms.
