Abstract

The investigation developed in the Entrepreneurial Unit of Base Cultivos Protected and Semiprotegidos” perteneciente to the Empresa Agropecuaria Paquito Rosales Benítez” of Veguitas, municipality Yara, province Granma. The objective of work was to evaluate through the methodology proposed by Bowers (1992) the energetic balance of the cultivation of pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) in Fluvisol. The energy of direct use once cultivation was associated too went from 267.6 MJ ha-1, in her than the 50.1 and 39.8 %, they were connected to fuel and the human force. The energy of indirect use which had 1315.7 MJ ha-1 behavior associating the bigger percentage to gradeo's work has q you went from 60.5 %, being the cantered give it minor incidence yielding 5 % of the total. The productive process of cultivation incurred in 634.9 CUP expense, having an effect on bigger quantity the expense by way of salary that you represented 96.1 % of the total.
