Evaluation of the energy cost of the work of rupture with plow of discs for the cultivation of beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.)

Abstract

The investigation was carried out in the UEB “Agrícola” of the Agricultural Company “Paquito Rosebushes Benítez" of the municipality Yara, of the county of Granma, Cuba, with the objective of evaluating the energy cost of the floor preparation for the cultivation of the bean, with the tractor Belarus - 800 and plow of disks ADI - 3 M (T1) and the tractor Belarus - 800 and plow of disks AFT - 4 (T2). Having as a result that T2, reached the bigger energy cost related with the machinery (4.54 MJ·h-1) and the smallest cost of fuel (29 520 MJ·h-1). While of T1 reached a higher energy cost of sequestered energy in the use of lubricants, in maintenance and repair with values of 3 280 and 84 624 MJ· h-1 respectively, for 1.96 MJ·h-1 in favor of employment from handwork. Presented T1 the highest total cost of the process 153 510 MJ·h-1 in relation to T2 with 69 083 MJ·h-1.
