La economía popular y solidaria en el desarrollo territorial. Análisis de las organizaciones del sector no financiero en la provincia de los Ríos-Ecuador

Abstract

The present work is based on the results of an investigation carried out with the purpose of getting to know the organizations of the non-financial sector within the Popular and Solidarity Economy in the Province of Los Ríos-Ecuador. The methodology used is a bibliographic and documentary review, therefore some statistics of Popular Economy and Solidarity organizations established in the Province of Los Ríos are exposed. The conclusion is reached that the organizations that have greater participation are those of production, as well as those of services. Outstanding within the class of organizations, cooperatives and associations among which we have: agricultural, agricultural, food, cleaning services, transport and textiles. Theoretical methods and statistical data of the Superintendency of Popular Economy and Solidarity were used interrelated. The presented work demonstrates that the cantons that more organizations concentrate of the non-financial sector within the Popular and Solidarity Economy are: Babahoyo and Quevedo.
