Keywords:

Interpersonal conflicts in organizational contexts are an unavoidable reality that can significantly impact productivity, work climate, and employee well-being. This review article aims to analyze the current state of knowledge regarding professional development for the management and prevention of interpersonal conflicts in organizations. Through a literature review that includes scientific articles, academic research, and specialized documents published in the last 15 years, the article identifies the main knowledge required by professionals for the constructive management of conflicts, the predominant training approaches, intervention strategies, and persistent challenges in this area. The critical analysis reveals that, while there is a growing recognition of the importance of these skills as a strategic asset, human talent training and development programs have significant gaps in the area of peaceful conflict resolution. Research shows that a significant percentage of professionals do not have this knowledge adequately consolidated. It is concluded that professional development in this area should integrate the development of emotional, communicative, negotiation, and mediation skills, incorporating restorative approaches and prevention strategies, with an emphasis on experiential training, situated learning, and organizational support.
