Parkinson's disease is a chronic, neurodegenerative condition that aftfects the quality of life of patients. Physical rehabilitation is one of the non-pharmacological treatment strategies for this disease. In this article we propose to demonstrate the effectiveness of the practice of Tai Chi Chuan - Chi Kun, a set of various disciplines and techniques belonging to traditional Chinese culture and medicine, in the rehabilitation of patients with Parkinson's disease. For this purpose, a bibliographic review was carried out in the main databases on the use of Tai Chi Chuan - Chi Kun as an effective therapeutic strategy. Several studies report beneficial effects of Tai Chi Chuan and Chi Kun on the quality of life of patients. Among the main results are significant improvements in balance, coordination and gait, as well as changes in brain structures that delay the deterioration of brain function. As conclusions, it is proposed the need to continue researching and enriching rehabilitation protocols with the practice of Tai Chi Chuan and Chi Kun and to expand the implementation of these therapies in other neurodegenerative diseases
