Abstract

  Spinocerebellar ataxia type 2 is a neurodegenerative disease that until today does not have neuroprotective therapeutic options that cure it. It is clinically characterized by a cerebellar syndrome, in which coordination and marching disorders, dysmetry, dysdiadocococinesia and cerebellar dysarthria predominate, which has a negative impact on the performance of the activities of daily life and the social performance of the social performance of the individual. The objective aims to assess the application of the therapeutic physical rehabilitation of this speech disorder in patients withspinocerebellar ataxia type 2 It was found that speechopold intervention through therapeutic physical rehabilitation improves functional and cognitive abilities, enhancing health -related quality of life.
