Blas Roca Calderío: paradigm for the Cuban educators (Review)

The article that is presented offers a vision about the qualities present in the personality of Blas Roca Calderío as an educator, so that it can contribute to one of the most important demands of current Cuban society, the training of an educational competent professional; That is why this article aims to reflect on the main qualities of this educator that make him an archetype for Cuban education, who despite not having exercised the teaching profession for a long period of time, his thought educational praxis and qualities make him a necessary educational figure in the history of Cuban education. In order to carry out this study, the theoretical analytical-synthetic and inductive deductive methods were used, as well as the analysis of documents and the interview as an empirical method.
