Key Population aging occurs at accelerated rates in the world. Cuba is located in the Caribbean,
one of the oldest regions. This situation imposes the challenge for scientists and politicians to
increase the quality of life of older adults. The assessment of their quality of life is carried out
through well-being, so it is important to unravel the underlying factors. In this research, a
psychosocial intervention is carried out to promote subjective well-being in older adults in a health
area of the Polyclinic March 13, in Granma through participation. The universe was made up of 23 elders of the Bayamo Polyclinic "March 13". The main results support the improvement of the levels of subjective well-being in older adults after psychosocial intervention, with greater increases in adults over 60 to 64 years of age, single and divorced, and university and pre-
university students.
