Abstract

The partial or total Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum is among the abnormalities of the closure of the neural tube by its frequency.Equinetherapy consists of taking advantages of the multidimensional movement of the horse to stimulate people´s muscles and joints. In order to show the benefits of Equine therapyand rehabilitation, it is presented a case of a child of 9 years old with partial Agenesis of Corpus Callosum, unique in the municipality of Bayamo. He began rehabilitation at 3 months of age by a psychomotor development delay. Magnetic resonance imaging showed a partial Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum. The results have been compared with other authors, making a contribution of personality and cognitive, communicative levels by contact with the horse, as well as muscles, recovery or improvement of the balance during walking.
